Storytelling as a Spiritual Practice
Gather around our virtual campfire to discuss the sacred power of stories.
In this four-week workshop, you will hear stories that connect you to your heart, soul and spirit.
Fairy tales, folk tales, short stories and poems will fuel our connections, such as Rumi poems, Grimm fairy tales and myths. We will carefully listen to, reflect, respond to, create and tell stories.
Story can act as teacher, mentor and compassionate guide as we seek the Spirit within, above, below and around us.
What is a spiritual practice?
A spiritual practice often involves going within, getting to know one’s self, being a witness to one’s process, and feeling a connection to the great oneness of life. Stories can help to prompt that journey.
This is not a religious class. No experience necessary.
